Wanderers Guild tables typically consist of one Dungeon Master and between three and seven players. Running a group with fewer than three players is not recommended, due to the increased challenge for those characters, as well as the lack of role-playing opportunities that would normally arise from having a larger group.
Tables larger than seven players are similarly not recommended, but it is left to the individual DM’s discretion. If you are willing to run a table larger than seven players, it is recommended that you appoint an experienced player to assist in some table management duties, such as tracking initiative or monster health.
Note: Individual venues (stores, event management, etc.) may choose to limit table sizes if large tables present a problem from a noise or behavior perspective.
